Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Araby said that Meeting in Istanbul proved that Turkey and Arab countries had same views on all issues.

copyright_aabadoluajansi_2012_20121202095613Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Araby on Saturday said that the Fifth Meeting of the Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs proved that Turkey and Arab countries had same views on all issues.

Speaking at a press conference at the end of their meeting, al-Araby stressed that the United Nations’ recognition of Palestine as a ‘non-member observer state’ after 65 years was not sufficient.
Touching on Syria, al-Araby noted that there was nothing new in Syria.
“Bloodshed in Syria continues like a waterfall,” al-Araby also said.
Also speaking at the press conference, Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour said that their only wish was to see the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

UN decision on Palestine’s status to lead to full membership

The United Nations’ decision earlier in the week on Palestine’s status as a ‘non-member observer state’ was the first step to make Palestine a full member, said a joint statement issued by the participants of the Fifth Meeting of the Turkish-Arab Cooperation Forum at the level of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Istanbul on Saturday.
