The military path is a dead end, it only fills the streets with blood, it only fills camps like this with more tears. I appeal to both sides, particularly Syrian government stop the killing. Stop the violence in the name of humanity,” said Ban Ki-moon after visiting a refugee camp that shelters Syrian people in Islahiye in the southeastern Turkish province of Gaziantep.
Stating that many humanitarian organizations had been working in terms of helping refugees, “I urge the international community, and in particular the Security Council, to stand united and act decisively to end this crisis,” he said.

–Use of chemical weapons by Syria would be a crime

Ban Ki-moon said  “while not confirmed, the possibility of Syria using chemical weapons would constitute a cruel crime against humanity.”
Ban Ki-moon stressed that what had to take place first and foremost in Syria was the end of violence.
“I welcome gratefully the Turkish government’s open door policy and accepting all Syrian refugees without any conditions,” Ban Ki-moon also said.
Ban Ki-moon left Islahiye for Ankara after visiting the refugee camp.
