Turkey’s Galatasaray football team has said it opened talks with Inter Milan Dutch midfielder WesleySneijder for a move to the Turkish premier league.
“Talks with FC Internazionale has begun to sign Wesley Sneijder,” Galatasaray said Tuesday in a regulatory filing to the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
Sneijder was namedUEFA midfielder of the season and one of the three best midfielders in the world for 2010 by FIFA.
Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham were also reportedly in pursuit of The 28-year-old Dutch player.
