Erdogan:US embassy attack not related with Syria

Turkish premier rules out link between Syria, US embassy attack in Turkey.

copyright_aabadoluajansi_2013_20130202210026Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan ruled out possibility that Friday’s deadly suicide bombing at the US Embassy in Turkey was linked to the situation inSyria.
“I don’t reach to a conclusion that this incident is related with Syria,” Erdogan told a televised interview on private Haberturk channel.
The suicide blast Friday at a checkpoint outside the embassy compound killed the bomber and a security guard as well as seriously wounding a Turkish woman.
Erdogan said DHKP-C, an outlawed leftist group in Turkey, was responsible for theattack.
The group recognized as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the European Union.
“We have [the bomber’s] name and birth place. But as the premier it is always my principle to speak only after receiving the final result, but I can definitely say that it is DHKP-C,” Erdogan said.

Turkish premier sends message to US president

On the other hand, Erdogan sent a message to US President Barack Obama, expressing sadness over the deadly suicide bomb attack on the US Embassy in the Turkish capital.
“The terrorist act on theUS Embassy is also anattack on Turkey. This incident has shown that the continuation and strengthening of the existing partnership between Turkey and the US against terrorism is crucial,” Erdogan said in his message.
Erdogan said Turkish security forces and intelligence agencies exerted every effort to shed light on the incident and bring before justice those who were responsible for theattack.

Gul also sent message to US counterpart over US embassy attack in Ankara

Turkish President Abdullah Gul also sent a message to US President Obama, expressing sadness over the suicide bomb attack on the US Embassy in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

NATO chief, top British diplomat condemn US embassy attack in Turkish capital

Moreover, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and British Foreign Secretary William Hague also condemned suicide bombing at the US Embassy in the Turkish capital.

UNSC and Italy condemned the suicide blast 

UN Security Council and Italy also condemned the suicide blast at US Embassy in Ankara.
UNSC stated that violence against diplomatic missions escalated recently, and innocent people were being killed in such incidents.
Italian Foreign Ministry offered condolences to the relatives of victims.
Egypt also condemned the blast which occurred inUS Embassy in Ankara.
