A photography competition titled “My City” is inviting people to capture in photographs unique scenes from the city where they live. Photos should reflect the unique features of the city the photographer resides in.
Those who want to enter the competition should upload their photos with the tag “benimsehrim” (my city) to Instagram before July 18.
A jury, made up of the curators of Istanbul Modern, will select the 10 best photos of the week and publish them on Istanbul Modern’s Pinterest account. At the end of four weeks, three overall winners of the competition will be chosen among the 10 most liked photos of every week.
The winner will win an iPhone 4S while the first three winners will be given one-year membership cards to Istanbul Modern.
