Syria recently tried to weaken Turkey’s power by firing on Turkish villages near the common borderline, killing few Syrian refuges and injuring many Turkish citizens. Today, it proceeded one step further by downing a Turkish warplane, then fired into a Turkish search and rescue plane. It is time for Erdoğan to make al-Assad show some respect for Turkiye!

Syria has come to represent a “clear danger” for Turkey, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told, contributing that all armed forces elements coming the Turkish border from Syria would be regarded “a threat” from today.

The Turkish Armed Forces has altered its rules of involvement in the wake of the crisis, Erdoğan told. “The Turkish military will avenge against border attacks by Syria.”

Everyone had better know Turkey’s anger will “furious” over Syria’s downing of a Turkish jet last week, Erdoğan warned in his party’s meeting today.

“Turkey’s friendship is important, but everybody had better know Turkey’s anger is equally stormy,” Erdoğan told.

Erdoğan “emphasised” that the Turkish plane was downed in international airspace and crashed into Syrian waters.

“The downed jet was on a peaceful charge to exam regenerated radar systems,” Erdoğan told.

Turkey’s decision to act with common sense shouldn’t be interpreted as a state of weakness, Erdoğan told.

Turkish airspace was despoiled 114 times this year alone, Erdoğan told, added together that all of the cases were dissolved peacefully.

Syrian helicopters raped Turkey’s air space 5 times, but were peacefully warned to leave.

Syria’s rulers didn’t present the “brotherlike” citizenry of Syria, Erdoğan also told, marking the heavy regime of Hafez al-Assad, the father of current President Bashar al-Assad. Turkey had desired Bashar al-Assad would enact reforms to democratise his country, but the hopes were vainly, Erdoğan told.

“The current Syrian administration is a tyrannical regime that murders its own people,” Erdoğan said, repeating that the al-Assad regime had “lost all legitimacy.”
