Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoğlu attends oath-taking ceremony of Rouhani

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu attended the oath-taking ceremony of Hassan Rouhani as Iran’s new president on Sunday.
An oath-taking ceremony of Rouhani was held in Iran’s parliament on the occasion of taking the office after winning presidential elections on June 14.
Presidents, foreign ministers and their representatives were invited to Rouhani’s inauguration for the first time since Iran’s 1979 Islamic revolution.
Leaders and other representatives from more than 50 countries, including Syria, North Korea, Venezuela and Russia, mostly from the region, attended the ceremony.
Davutoglu greeted Rouhani and they had a short conversation.
Davutoglu is expected to meet with Rouhani on August 5.
