American officials on Monday claimed that US led coalition forces have destroyed one of aISIS controlled bank holding tens of millions of dollars in airstrikes carried out earlier on Sunday morning central Mosul.
The bank was believed to be used by to pay ISIS militants for their military operations.
The officials were not sure how much money exactly was stashed in the bank and in what currency. However, they said that the fortune lost in the attack that was launched just before dawn Sunday may have been in millions.
