German Chancellor Angela Merkel spoke with Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on the phone regarding the ceasefire in Syria.

During the phone call, the Turkish Prime Minister stated that compliance to the ceasefire is vital for the protection of civilians in Syria. The emphasis was placed on the fact that terrorist groups such as ISIS and PYD/YPG should not take advantage of the situation.
