Erdogan said the AK Party Congress held turned into a summit watched not only by Turkey but also by the whole world.
Chairman of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday said that the AK Party Congress held on Sunday turned into a summit watched not only by Turkey but also by the whole world.
Addressing the deputies of his political party in a group meeting at the Turkish Parliament, Erdogan wished that the new legislative year in Turkey would be beneficial for all.
“There have been only a few party congresses in Turkey as one held by the AK Party on Sunday and which attracted high interest from overseas, which hosted so many foreign guests and watched so closely by regional countries,” Erdogan underlined.
“No one should worry. Turkey’s axis and route are clear,” Erdogan noted.
Touching on Turkey’s economic performance in 2012, Erdogan said that Turkey’s exports in the first nine months of 2012 went up 12.1 percent when compared to the same term last year and reached a value of 111.4 billion USD.
“Such economic figures indicate the accuracy of policies implemented. These figures have confirmed that our policies have been beneficial for Turkey,” Erdogan also said.
