First-Vice President of Iran said they condemned all initiatives related to violence.

First-Vice President of Iran, Mohammed Reza Rahimi said they condemned all initiatives related to violence.
Speaking at a joint press conference with the Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Thursday, Rahimi stressed that they condemned all acts of violence.
“You have all seen the tyrant countries and violence. The Islamic Republic of Iran has led all efforts against such (tyrant) countries. We have been on Turkey’s side in such matters,” Rahimi said.
“I offer condolences to Prime Minister Erdogan and the Turkish people after 5 Turks were killed and 9 others wounded on Wednesday when Syrian artillery shells landed in the south-eastern town of Akcakale,” Rahimi indicated.
“Turkey is a valuable neighbor of ours. Iran and Turkey are two countries with a (rich) culture and civilization. I convey to you the warm greetings of the Iranian government,” Rahimi noted.
“I condemn all bloodshed caused by violence. I just can not accept any initiative that involves violence,” Rahimi expressed.
“As part of our monotheistic religion, we believe that saving a single individual implies saving the whole humanity. Likewise, killing an individual implies killing the whole humanity. This is what the holy Qur’an says,” Rahimi underlined.
“We intend to boost our relations with Turkey as much as possible. Our trade volume with Turkey was 5 billion USD when Prime Minister Erdogan visited us two years ago. Today, our trade volume is over 16 billion USD. We have agreed with Erdogan to raise our trade volume to 30 billion USD,” Rahimi stated.
Asked by a journalist if Iran would be on the side of Turkey or Syria after the Syrian attack against Turkey on Wednesday, Rahimi stressed that they condemned all acts of violence.
“We are proud to be a neighbor of Turkey. Prime Minister Erdogan said he was in deep pain for all those innocent people killed in the world. We share Erdogan’s pain,” Rahimi also said.
