Ankara police on Saturday found eleven hand grenades and 16 rifle bullets left on an overpass along the Anadolu Boulevard.
Security forces discovered a bag during routine patrolling on an overpass near the Fatih University’s Nursing School. Finding out that there were ammunition in the bag, police closed the overpass to pedestrians. The ammunition found was taken to Ankara Police Department after initial examination.
Police have launched an investigation into the discovery of the ammunition. It was not immediately clear whether any terrorist group was linked to the ammunition.
