A senior Turkish diplomat has said that Turkey’s stance in terms of relations with Israel shows no change.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency correspondent on Monday about an Israeli senior official’s latest statements on Turkish-Israeli relations, Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Selcuk Unal said that everybody was aware of how Turkey-Israel relations came to this point.
“There is no change on Turkey’s stance in the sense of Israel relations. Despite trying to present statements via media, Israeli officials should take steps to normalize relations with Turkey,” he said.
The spokesperson’s comments came after media reports said that a senior Israeli official had stated Israel was willing to discuss with Turkey the developments in Syria. The official had also hinted that Israel was ready to discuss ways to normalize relations with Turkey without any preconditions.
