Assad regime announces representative for peace talks

Syrian government announced the names of the people to participate in the peace talks from his cabinet.

suriye-jpg20130521215107Syrian regime has announced names of representatives it would send Geneva to take part in a fresh round of peace talks planned for June.
Syrian Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi, Syrian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Qadri Jamil, Minister of Information Umran Ahid al-Za’bi, Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haydar and Minister of State Joseph Suwayd were the names on the list given by Assad, according to the reports appeared on French media which cited EU diplomatic sources.
The Syrian National Council had previously stated that they reserved the right to reject some of the names enlisted for the peace talks.
Peace talks were agreed on by the United States and Russia two weeks ago.
