Families in Syrian city of Aleppo have difficulty in burying bodies of their dead ones as fierce clashes between the Syrian opposition and Assad forces continue.
As Assad troops have surrounded all cemeteries in Aleppo, the residents of Aleppo have to bury their loved ones in gardens, children’s parks or football fields.
Speaking to the Anadolu Agency (AA), a resident of Aleppo, Abu Selman said that “since the Assad troops surrounded cemeteries, the people began to bury their dead ones in parks”.
“A member of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) was the first one to be buried in a local park,” Selman underlined.
“With the rise in the number of casualties, seeing tombs in residential areas have become a normal part of life,” Selman also said.
Meanwhile, more and more Syrians are entering Turkey after fleeing clashes in Syria.
On Friday, 58 Syrians, including some high level military officials and their families, entered Turkey via the Bukulmez village of the southern province of Hatay.
On the other hand, the commander-in-chief of the Syrian National Army (SNA) Major General Muhammad Hussein al-Haj Ali stated that the “Syrian National Council (SNC) was itself insufficient to embrace all segments of the Syrian society”.
“A meeting will take place in Doha, Qatar on November 4 in which the SNC would be restructured. I do hope that other groups would be invited to the meeting in order to facilitate political union. This union may make up the transitional government in the future,” al-Haj Ali stressed.
“The SNA have difficulty in obtaining arms and in facilitating the entry of weapons into Syria,” al-Haj Ali also said.
