Davutoglu-al-Arabi meeting focuses on latest developments

Davutoglu had a meeting with al-Arabi, who is visiting Istanbul for the Istanbul World Forum.

copyright_aabadoluajansi_2012_20121014103931Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Arabi discussed the latest developments along Turkish-Syrian border.
Davutoglu had a meeting with al-Arabi, who is visiting Istanbul for the Istanbul World Forum.
Al-Arabi reiterated his condolences to Davutoglu regarding a Syrian artillery attack on Turkish town of Akcakale on October 3 that killed two women and three children.
Davutoglu informed al-Arabi about incidents along the border and developments before and after artillery attack on Akcakale.
The two officials also discussed Turkey-Egypt-Iran tripartite meeting process.
The Syrian plane that was stopped by Turkey was also taken up in the meeting.
