German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday said, the international community must react now for Syria and Syrian civil war can be terminated with a comprehensive political solution.
“Germany has supported the initiative of US and Russia to hold the UN conference,” Merkel told the Mittelbayerische Zeitung newspaper.
“We must get all civil war parties back on one table,” Merkel highlighted.
Merkel indicated that an outrageous civil war has been taking place in Syria and it has already caused more than 100,000 casualties.
Pointing to the use of chemical weapons near Damascus, Merkel said, the international community must react now.
