Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II will head to Moscow on January 20.
Ilia II stated at a meeting with representatives of Fazisi Academy in the Patriarchate that an awarding ceremony will take place in Russian capital on January 21, during which an award of the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Christians will be presented to him.
The ceremony will be attended by some 1,500 guests, including representatives of the Russian government, he said.
