Teams from the İstanbul Police Department excavating a plot in a afforested area in İstanbul’s Küçükçekmece area on Wednesday discovered 10 kilos of plastic explosives as well as devices applied in making bombs.
It wasn’t clear specifically which investigating resulted in the excavation, but anti-terror teams and crime scene bureau members analysed an area across from the railway station placed in the Soğuksu region on Wednesday, with the assistance of metal sensors and sniffer dogs. Bomb disposition experts also joined the search attempts.
