U.S. spokesperson has said that Turkey has been very consistent that it was striking back strongly and proportionally every time it took an attack across border regarding landing of Syrian artillery shells in Turkey.
Replying to a question whether or not she was convinced that the Russians were continuing to supply (Syrian) regime with military equipment and materiel, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, Victoria Nuland, said Wednesday, “We don’t have any question, based on what we’ve heard from our Turkish allies, that there was dangerous military cargo on that aircraft, which obviously speaks to what you’re talking about.”
