I hope Syrian people will be in peace with the cease fire which was declared after more than a year of violence in the country, said Davutoglu in the message he posted on Twitter for Eid al-Adha holiday.
Davutoglu celebrated all citizens’ Eid al-Adha holiday, and expressed hope it would be propitious for the whole Islamic world.
On Thursday, Syrian army declared a cease fire beginning on Friday and ending on Monday.
Syrian army administration stated that it accepted the suggestion of Lakhdar Brahimi, the Joint Special Representative of the UN & the League of Arab States, to declare a cease fire throughout the Eid al-Adha.
Meanwhile, Free Syrian Army also accepted the cease fire.
Syrian National Council (SNC) Turkey representative Halid Hoca told AA that Free Syrian Army accepted the cease fire with some conditions as; Syrian units would not change positions, it would withdraw from cities, and prisoners would be released.
