Approximately ten thousand tourists visited the Turkish town of Safranbolu famous with its historical houses and mansions in northern province of Karabuk, on new years.
Safranbolu Mayor Necdet Aksoy said Tuesday that foreign tourists as well as domestic tourists especially from metropolitan cities welcomed the new year in the depths of history.
Aksoy stated that they prepared visual shows, fireworks events, Santa Claus animations, Turkish delights and local drinks for the visitors of Safranbolu on new years eve.
