The number of embassies Turkey opened in Africa reached 31 in the past three years.
Diplomatic sources told AA that the number of Turkish embassies in Africa had been 12 in 2009, and it increased to 31 in 2012.
It is expected to reach 34 in the next two months, said the sources.
Meanwhile, Turkey’s assistance to African continent became 102 million USD in 2010.
