Turkish exports of steel continue to increase.
According to the Turkish Union of Steel Exporters (CIB), Turkey exported steel worth 13.1 billion USD in the first 10 months of 2012.
Turkey’s exports of steel were up 11.09 percent in the first 10 months of 2012 when compared to the same term last year.
Turkey exported 16.7 million tonnes of steel in the first 10 months of 2012.
Most of Turkish exports of steel went to the Middle East (6.9 million tonnes) followed by the European Union (1.8 million tonnes).
