UN Team to leave Syria on Friday

Ban appeals for time for the experts to conclude their investigation over the allegation of chemical attack in which 1,000 were killed last week.

Ban Ki-moon said on Thursday that all options should be evaluated before reaching a decision, adding that the investigation team will leave Syria tomorrow and submit their report to him on Saturday.

The Syrian regime appealed time for the chemical team to visit various places where Damascus accuses the rebel forces used chemical gas. But it is dismissed by the international world as an excuse to gain time.

UN experts left their hotel with a convoy to investigate the chemical attack Thursday. The inspectors was attacked by snipers on Monday. One of their car broke down after being shot at. After replacing the car, the team visited intended destination. The team also visited affected areas yesterday.
