Americans voted to elect the next president of the United States on November 3, 2020. Joe Biden is trying to unseat incumbent Donald Trump as the country battles the coronavirus pandemic and a reeling economy.

Former-Vice President Joe Biden beat 29 other major candidates to win the Democratic Party nomination. On August 11, Biden tapped former primary opponent, California Senator Kamala Harris to join him as vice president on the ticket. Here’s a compilation of DW’s US election-related content.
