Voting is one of the fundamental rights in all democracies. Political administrations are obliged to find solutions clearing the way for those who want to use their democratic right for voting.
Addressing the citizens via an interview published on the state-run TRT network on Wednesday, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said: “Whatever obstacle they place in front of you, you should go and cast your votes on the dates announced for you to participate in the polls.”
The President urged Turkish citizens living abroad to use their democratic rights and participate in the upcoming referendum despite obstacles being placed on their path.
