Munir TIRELI

Musician, music researcher and writer, expert on social policy. Graduated from Faculty of Politics in Ankara, made two master degrees; one is an MBA from Yeditepe University and the other is a public administration master degree from Public Administration Institute for Turkey and Middle East. He made his master thesis on Akhi System and Aspects of Social Policy in The Rhetoric of TIP (Labor Party of Turkey). He worked on poverty and made his expertise thesis on the approaches of UNDP and World Bank and it was published by the Ministry of Family and Social Policies. Also made cooperation with Selim Coşkun in his book on strategies on poverty in EU countries and Turkey. As a musician, his work was used in a promotion CD of Gonzo Circus magazine in 2006. In 2008, he released his first LP named as “Fezada Funk” (Funk In Space). He continues producing his self web albums after his debut LP. As a music researcher, he contributed in many magazines and book chapters and insert notes of vinyl record reissues. He also published books on Turkish Group Music between 1957-1990.
