Prime Minister Erdogan congratulated Turkish rally pilots who achieved success in Qatar.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived Qatar’s capital city, Doha on Monday evening.
Turkish Premier Erdogan’s spouse Emine Erdogan, his daughter Sumeyye Erdogan, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz are accompanying Erdogan.
After his arrival, Erdogan firstly came together with Turkish rally pilot Burcu Cetinkaya and Co-Pilot Ozlem Akguc in Qatar. Cetinkaya and Akguc came first in Qatar International Rally in women’s and fifth in Group N.
Erdogan congratulated both pilots and decorated them with their prize. Later on, Erdogan had a look at the team’s car and was informed by Cetinkaya about the rally and racing.
Erdogan will meet Amir of Qatar Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabir Al Thani in Doha today. Erdogan and the Qatari officials will discuss bilateral relations as well as topics such as the latest situation in Syria, the Palestinian-Israeli problem and North Africa.
