On 3 November 2020, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a meeting in Ankara with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nabeela F. Tunis of Sierra Leone and evaluated our excellent bilateral relations.
Following the meeting, the two Ministers held a joint press conference.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that we signed 3 agreements on avoidance of double taxation, technology, innovation and education, and that the 3rd Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit to be held in 2021 was also discussed in the meeting.

Later, Minister Çavuşoğlu inaugurated together with the guest Minister, the Embassy building of Sierra Leone, stated that Sierra Leone had become the 36th African country to be represented in Turkey, and also wished that the new Embassy would serve well to further strengthen our cooperation.
