The Anadolu Agency does not verify these stories and does not vouch for their accuracy.
Most of the Turkish dailies covered the racist statements of the MP from Turkish main opposition People’s Republican Party (CHP) Birgul Ayman over the Kurdish row. Over the criticism, Ayman held a press conference on Monday and said she expects everyone to apologize to her as she was called “racist” over her statements. “Not a joke, she expects for an apology” headlined daily YENI SAFAK over the new statements of Ayman. Daily RADIKAL headlined, “Sorry but it is still the same mind”.
Another story covered by most of the Turkish dailies was the U.S. woman who disappeared in Istanbul. According to dailies, Turkish police works on an intensive investigation to find 33 year-old U.S. women Sarai Sierra. Daily VATAN headlined, “4 Secret days in Europe”, and added that Sierra who was travelling in Istanbul got lost in Beyoglu district while she was taking photos. On Monday night her husband Steven Sierra arrived in Istanbul to receive more information on his wife’s disappearance. Turkish police carries an investigation with the U.S. Consulate in Istanbul.
Lastly, Turkish dailies covered the death of Turkish veteran singer Ferdi Ozbegen who passed away in Istanbul at the age of 72 due to severe respiratory distress at Okmeydani Training & Research Hospital.Ozbegen also a pianist released many albums throughout his career.
