An Istanbul-based research company announced the results of a recent survey which showed that more than two-thirds of the population supported a cross-border operation against PKK targets.

Turkey has been gravely concerned by the moves of the YPG on Azaz. It claims that the group is involved in ethnic cleansing against Arabs and Turkmens in the region, cooperating with the Assad regime.

The survey showed that 60% of the public supported the ongoing operations against the PKK terrorists in the southeast of the country.
